Sun Safety for Dogs: Why You Should Avoid the Hottest Hours of the Day ☀️🐶
When the sun is blazing, it's not just humans who feel the heat — our furry friends do too! Here’s why you should be extra cautious during hot days:
🌡️ Dogs Overheat Quickly Dogs don't sweat like we do. They cool down mainly by panting, which isn’t very efficient in extreme heat.
🐾 Paw Pad Burns Pavement, sand, and even artificial grass can become scorching hot. If it's too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws!
☀️ Risk of Heatstroke Heatstroke is a serious emergency. Symptoms include heavy panting, drooling, vomiting, confusion, or collapse. It can happen faster than you think.
